Well I am not part of a culture that considers women and children to be property of the husband/father either. You clearly understand all the ramifications of responsibility, it isn't just about moi! In olden times, before germ theory, when STD was as common as the cold ... promiscuity of any kind, was a slow death sentence. Just like teen prostitutes in Mumbai, many of our ancestors had an average life span on 25 years, just because of STD.
